Chris is a results-driven technical professional with 15+ years of experience leading technical teams in Australia, South Africa, Chile, and Peru to achieve operational excellence across multiple mining and engineering disciplines.
Chris holds a Bachelor Degree in Surveying , Master of Mining Engineering and is a Registered Surveyor with Mining 'O', 'UC' and Cadastral endorsements with the Surveyors Board of Queensland and has also attained registration as a Mining Unrestricted Surveyor with the Board of Surveying and Spatial Information in New South Wales.
Chris has a demonstrated record of aligning business stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and using his strong strategic management capability and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
He is well-versed in leading the implementation of current and emerging spatial technologies to support operational excellence and risk management. He is an experienced presenter and facilitator with an adaptable style and exhibits the ability to create and deliver compelling content.
Chris actively promotes and influences a holistic behavioural safety mindset by demonstrating safety leadership and challenging unsafe behaviours, without prejudice, constructively and respectfully.
